Hi, I'm Carla, the person behind All Ears and Tails.

My connection with animals has shaped my whole life. As a child, I had a collie who watched over me throughout my childhood. During a moment when I was alone and vulnerable, he instinctively stepped between me and danger without hesitation, putting himself at risk to give me the opportunity to get to safety.

That experience stayed with me and shaped how I see dogs, not just as companions, but as perceptive, loyal, and emotionally aware animals who often understand far more than we realise.

For more than 15 years, I have bred and worked with a wide variety of animals, including alpacas, angora goats, miniature Mediterranean donkeys, and dogs. Alongside breeding, I spent many years integrating animals into education, care farming, and wellbeing programmes, witnessing first hand the positive impact they can have on people's confidence, learning, and quality of life.

Today, I hold qualifications in Animal Assisted Therapy and Equine Assisted Learning, bringing together my lifelong passion for animals with a professional background in education, coaching, and wellbeing. Everything I have learned through breeding, education, and working alongside animals now underpins how I breed and raise my dogs.
